Course: Type & Layout
In my Type & Layout class, I embarked on a project to develop a brand identity for a theoretical recording studio named HUMM. For the logo, I aimed to instantly convey the connection to music. I achieved this by incorporating sound bars extending from the ascenders and descenders of the letters. This musical motif was seamlessly integrated into other branding elements, such as the bottom of the letterhead and business card, creating a cohesive and visually engaging representation of HUMM's identity across various materials.
